Why Dosatron Maintenance Matters
Worn seals and check valve components are the root cause of the two most common Dosatron issues. When suction is lost, the unit simply won't draw; when the stroke is lost, it won't click. Both directly change your dose rate, and both are preventable. Staying on a maintenance schedule keeps your injection ratio on target, prevents inconsistent draw, reduces chemical waste and off-spec output, extends the injector's service life, and helps you avoid the unplanned downtime and emergency replacements that cost far more than a routine kit swap.
