Car Wash Low-Pressure Modular Self-Serve System
As a self-serve operator, your margin lives in two places: keeping the wash consistent enough to retain customers, and keeping the back room simple enough to run without headaches. The Low-Pressure Modular Self-Serve System does both. Powered by a Dosatron D14MZ-D chemical dilution dispenser, it delivers repeatable chemistry to every bay while clearing the clutter that venturi systems leave behind.
How the System Works — Volumetric Proportioning
The driving force is the Dosatron D14MZ-D series injector, which doses by volumetric proportioning: the chemical-to-water ratio stays constant regardless of variations in pressure and flow.
Here's it in practice:
- A customer enters Bay #1 and turns on presoak. The corresponding solenoid in the presoak manifold opens, water flows, and drives the Dosatron piston and plunger up and down. The syringe-like action draws concentrate, blends it into the flowing water, and dispenses the mixed solution straight to Bay #1.
- A second customer enters Bay #2 and also turns on presoak. Flow demand doubles — so the Dosatron simply strokes twice as fast, holding the exact same mixture ratio across both bays.
No controller, no recalibration, no drift. The dose scales with the water, automatically.
What's on the Panel
Each fully assembled, ready-to-mount panel supplies 1 to 6 bays with perfectly mixed chemical on demand, and ships complete with:
- One Dosatron proportioner unit
- Chemical and air-solenoid valve manifolds
- Water and air pressure regulators with gauges
- A filter
Installation in Four Steps
The panels are engineered for a fast swap from an existing venturi setup:
- Securely mount the panel to the wall.
- Bring your water supply to the filter inlet.
- Move the power wires from the old solenoids to the new ones.
- Move each bay's chemical supply line from the old solenoids to the new — and you're ready to wash.
Built to Expand — Just Add a Panel
Modularity is the point. Each panel includes a hose barb on the discharge end of the water manifold with a shut-off ball valve. When you're ready to add another chemical, mount a second panel beside the first, run a jumper hose from the barb to the inlet of the next panel, open the ball valve — and the system grows with you.
