Hemp rewards growers who get nutrition right. Dosatron’s water-powered fertilizer injectors mix your concentrate into the irrigation line in proportion to the water flowing through, so every plant gets the same feed from the first irrigation to the last. No batch mixing. No electricity. No guesswork.
Whether you run a small indoor room or manage acres of outdoor hemp, Dosatron scales with you, from 0.05 GPM injectors for indoor rooms to 1,200 GPM for field-scale operations.
Find the right setup for your operation
Your operation | Working flow | Start with |
Small personal indoor grow | 0.5–5 GPM | Hobby Cultivator by Dosatron. Four water-powered pumps, expandable. Not suitable for commercial cultivation. |
Indoor grow room, one or two feeds | 0.05–14 GPM | D14-HY hydroponic dosing pump with built-in bypass, installed in series. |
Indoor or greenhouse, multi-part feed | 2–10 GPM (NDS Lo-Flo) | Nutrient Delivery System Lo-Flo. Up to 8 pumps, each at its own ratio. Optional pH/EC Monitor Kit. |
Larger greenhouse | 5–40 GPM (NDS Hi-Flo) or 2.2–40 GPM (D40MZ2-HY) | NDS Hi-Flo for a multi-nutrient program, or D40-HY for a single feed line. |
Greenhouse above 40 GPM | Up to 120 GPM | Three D40-HY units in parallel. |
Large outdoor or multi-block | 5–100 GPM per unit; | D20S Mega-Flo. |
Field-scale outdoor | 110–400 GPM per unit; 1,200 GPM with 3 units in parallel | D400 Mega-Flo Series. |
Mobile or spot dosing | Set by the injector on the cart (D14, D6 or D40 series) | DosaCart Pro, a 20-gallon mobile dosing cart. |
Sizing tip: the D400 needs at least 110 GPM per unit. Below that, use the D20S. Size to the total flow of every zone running at the same time.
Check pressure too. Staying inside the pressure window keeps the ratio reliable:
D14MZ2-HY 4.3–85 PSI · D40MZ2-HY 4.3–116 PSI · D20S 2–145 PSI · D400 7.25–116 PSI · Hobby Cultivator 35–87 PSI.
Quick flow check for an existing drip system: emitters on the zone × flow per emitter (GPH) = zone GPH. Divide by 60 to get GPM.

Match the feed to the growth stage
A feed plan is only as good as its delivery. Nitrogen demand peaks in the vegetative stage, when the plant builds leaves and stems. As the crop moves into flower, nitrogen comes down while phosphorus and potassium go up to support bud development. With a proportional injector, that change is a turn of the dial, not a new batch.
Most hemp is ready to harvest 90 to 120 days after planting, within a full range of 70 to 140 days, so know your timeline from seed to harvest before you set the feed schedule. Our cannabis growing tips give the pH, EC and environment targets to hit at each stage.
Check your water first. RO and soft water usually need Cal-Mag, and hard, alkaline water may need acid injection. Then turn your feed chart into an injector setting with the liquid fertilizer calculator, which converts your target ppm, stock strength and water volume into the volume to add and the ratio to set.

Prevent deficiencies at the source
Most deficiencies are not missing nutrients.
They come from a feed that drifts: a stock tank mixed by hand, a mix that changes with water pressure, or pH out of range. Consistent dosing removes the drift.
When symptoms do appear, our cannabis nutrient deficiency chart shows you where they start and what to check, and each nutrient has its own guide:

FAQ
No. Dosatron injectors run on water pressure alone. Electric options such as the Etatron eOne micro-doser and the IQ Controller are add-ons for extra precision or automation.
