Preparing Your Soil and Site
Hemp is resilient, but yields are won or lost at the site-selection stage.
Choose well-drained soil in full sun — 6 to 8 hours a day minimum — and avoid waterlogged or heavily shaded ground, which stunts growth and cuts yields.
