Give your crops the perfect amount of fertilizer. A Dosatron injector mixes your concentrate into the irrigation line in proportion to the water flowing through it, so the first emitter and the last emitter deliver exactly the same feed. Setup is simple: attach it to your water line, put the suction hose in your fertilizer concentrate and turn on the water.

From a single greenhouse bench to a high-flow field system, there is a Dosatron sized for your operation, from 0.05 GPM up to 1,200 GPM.

Why growers inject with Dosatron

Your irrigation system moves the water. The injector delivers the nutrients; in exactly the amount your plants need. Because a Dosatron doses by volume, the ratio holds even when flow or pressure changes. You set it with a dial and change it just as easily when the crop or the season changes.

Dosatron fits drip, sprinkler and drip-tape systems, and it works with any liquid or soluble fertilizer. It is useful for farms that already have an irrigation system, and it comes from more than 45 years of experience with hydroponic, greenhouse, and nursery growers. Unlike a venturi injector, a Dosatron gives you control over proportional dosing.

Dosatron injectors from garden center to open field

Dosatron injectors work in every growing environment. In the garden center they feed hanging baskets, misting lines and displays, and a mobile cart treats individual plants. In the greenhouse, injectors on the main line dose several products side by side to feed the benches, and a mobile unit handles spot treatments. In the open field they inject fertilizer straight into the drip lines, with water drawn from the well. Every unit runs on water pressure alone.

Pick the setup that matches how you irrigate

Your drip system moves the water. The injector decides what is in it. Feeding at the main line gives every emitter on the zone the same concentration, so nutrients reach the root zone evenly and you avoid the runoff and evaporation of dry or hand-applied fertilizer.

Because the dose follows the water, you can change the type and strength of nutrients at each growth stage without touching your irrigation schedule, and you can feed small, steady amounts every time the system runs. Most drip setups add a filter, a check valve and a pressure regulator, and backflow prevention keeps fertilizer out of your main water line.

Drip Irrigation Installation

Find your injector, from bench to field

Everything starts with one number: your working flow rate. Add up every zone that runs at the same time, then choose an injector whose flow and pressure range covers both your lowest and your highest flow. Here is where most growers land.

Not sure which one fits?

Tell us your flow rate and what you inject, and we'll recommend a setup.

What a Dosatron can inject

Chemical compatibility depends on the model and its seals, so confirm yours with a Dosatron specialist before you buy.

Nutrition

Feed your crop with liquid or soluble fertilizers and nutrients, or go organic with fish emulsion, compost teas and other organic inputs, all at a steady ratio from the first irrigation to the last.

Crop care

Protect the crop through the same line: apply beneficials, insecticides, fungicides and herbicides, drench with plant growth regulators, and add wetting agents or algicides without a separate application round.

Water treatment

Treat the water itself by injecting acids to adjust pH, and chlorine or other sanitizers on the models built for them.

Built for your crop

Greenhouses and nurseries.
Seedlings, cuttings and finished plants need the same feed on every bench. One injector handles fertigation, acidification, plant protection treatments, network maintenance and even the conservation of cut flowers.

Fruit and vegetables.
From berries and orchards to leafy greens and ornamentals, splitting inputs into small, regular doses keeps nutrition steady through the season.

Field crops.
Drip corn and fractionated nitrogen programs call for fertigation that fits your existing irrigation network. The D2S and D400 are the recommended models.

Landscaping and urban.
A fixed station on a drip network, or a mobile unit on a tank truck, feeds beds, roundabouts, green roofs and plant walls.

Trusted by growers

"For more than 15 years I have installed Dosatron fertilizer injectors in every new greenhouse location. They’re accurate, reliable, and simple to operate!"

Gene BatsonBatson’s Greenhouse | Mount Dora, FL

"We have been using Dosatron fertilizer injectors proudly for over 20 years. They are easy to use, simple to maintain, and no one can match their service!"

Gus and Chad CorsoCorso Flower & Garden Center | Sandusky, OH

"I've been using Dosatron for over 10 years, and I'm very happy with their product. I've tried other fertilize injectors, but Dosatrons just work better. That's why I'm a loyal customer!"

FAQ

No. They run on water pressure alone, so you can install them where power is limited. Electric options, such as the IQ Controller, are add-ons for automation.
