DosaDons: When Employee Commitment Reflects Dosatron’s Core Values

dosadons.png

At Dosatron, commitment is not something we merely declare — it’s something we embody. This belief gave rise to DosaDons, an employee‑driven initiative created with the desire to support local associations that share the company’s fundamental values: generosity, care, collective responsibility and a strong commitment to sustainable development.

The principle behind DosaDons is simple: give employees the opportunity to highlight non‑profit projects that matter to them personally, and to which Dosatron can provide tangible support — financial, material or technical.

During 10‑minute pitch sessions, several employees presented associations close to their hearts, their missions and their needs. After each presentation, a discussion with the jury enabled the selection of two winning associations, which Dosatron will support throughout the 2025 cycle.

This year’s selected projects perfectly illustrate how grassroots initiatives can strongly resonate with the company’s values.

La Ferme Deux Bouts: Fostering Inclusion Through Sustainable Farming

Located in Vayres, just 20 km from Dosatron near Bordeaux (33), La Ferme Deux Bouts is a social integration project specializing in market gardening and agroforestry. Its mission is twofold: support people facing precarious living conditions on their path toward housing and employment, while developing a local, organic and sustainable farming model.

Rooted in short supply chains and responsible production methods, the farm is also part of an AMAP, fostering direct connections between growers and consumers. It is a project fully aligned with a long‑term vision of agriculture that respects both people and the land.

Following a partial loss of public funding, La Ferme Deux Bouts expressed a need for both financial and material support to secure and maintain its crops. Dosatron’s involvement included financial aid as well as the donation of a D6 Green Line dosing pump.

This equipment provided a concrete response to a very real challenge: delivering precise and adapted irrigation and nutrient inputs to optimize crop development while respecting the strict standards of organic farming. A technical solution in service of a human‑centered project, where performance goes hand‑in‑hand with respect for living ecosystems.

Repair Café: Repairing Together to Share and Sustain

Located in Créon, 15 km from Dosatron near Bordeaux (33), the Repair Café, led locally by La Cabane à Projets, is part of an international citizen‑driven movement born in the Netherlands and now present worldwide. Its concept is simple yet powerful: repair everyday objects together rather than throw them away.

Over a coffee or tea, volunteers and participants gather to bring electronic devices, household appliances or IT equipment back to life. But beyond repair, the Repair Café is above all a space for sharing knowledge, where generations meet and learn from one another.

This approach concretely addresses key issues such as fighting overconsumption, reducing waste and promoting more responsible consumption habits.

The association had expressed a need for financial support to purchase tools and equipment to sustain and expand its workshops. A commitment that deeply resonates with Dosatron’s values, where product durability, reparability and the transmission of technical skills are essential pillars.

Supporting the Repair Café is a way of affirming that a repaired object is more valuable than a replaced one — and that progress also means learning to make things last, together.
