Wetting Agent Injection
DOSATRON dosing pumps have already been used for 25 years for correct dosing of wetting additives (isopropylic alcohols or substitutes) in various printing processes. The DOSATRON water powered dosing technology (water is the only driving force) is insensitive to pressure and flow variations in the water network, thus assuring precision and repeatability of the results (dosing readjustments are simple and fast according to the information from the pH/Conductivity probes). The dosing ranges of DOSATRON pumps are adapted to the various needs of the printshop (0.07% to 20% of product can be injected into the water) and cope with low water flows during filling of solution tanks. They are self-priming at up to 4 meters, they accommodate high viscosities, guarantee uniform dilution, enable direct readout and easy adjustment of the required dosing percentage and require little maintenance.
Technical points:
options include PVDF pump bodies (aggressive products), special seals (AF for alkalines and VF for acids), high resistance alloys (Hastelloy for corrosive products).

Mineral Dosing
DOSATRON dosing pumps are easily installed at the outlet from an osmosis unit to remineralise osmosed water. They are also used for dosing some additives to stabilise the pH of the solution, to reduce the surface tension, prevent the development of bacteria and other micro-organisms, and deposit of insoluble salts (these additives also act as anti-corrosive and anti-foaming agents). The DOSATRON water powered dosing technology (water is only the driving force) is insensitive to pressure and flow variations in the water network thus guaranteeing precision and repeatability of results (dosing readjustments are simple and fast according to pH/Conductivity probes). DOSATRON pumps are also self-priming at up to 4 meters, accomodate high viscosities, guarantee uniform dilution, enable direct readout and easy adjustment of the required dosing percentage and require little maintenance.
Technical points:
Options PVDF pump body and VF seals for aggressive acid solutions. The "Hastelloy" special alloy option may be necessary in some cases. Use AF type seals for alkaline additives.

Silicone Dosing
DOSATRON dosing pumps are used for dispensing silicone emulsions in forming operations. The DOSATRON water powered dosing technology (water is the only driving force) is insensitive to pressure and flow variations in the water network and guarantees good uniformity of emulsions while accepting high viscosities. DOSATRON pumps are also self-priming at up to 4 meters, enable direct readout and easy adjustment of the required dosing percentage and require little maintenance.
Technical points:
special seals (AF for alkaline products and VF for acids) and the"V" viscosity kit may be recommended.

Fogging - Humidifying
DOSATRON water powered dosing pumps can easily be installed on the upstream side of your spraying / humidification systems to guarantee correct dispensing of acids for descaling nozzles or biocides for disinfection of the spraying system (risk of development of biofilms and proliferation of legionella by air).
Technical points:
Options AF seals are recommended for alkaline detergents-disinfectants, VF seals are recommended for acids (descaling of nozzles) and the PVDF option is recommended for very aggressive highly concentrated products. Some installations include up to two dosing pumps in series.
