Hygiene and Disinfection
DOSATRON can be used for secure dosing of disinfecting detergents or acids for pipe sanitation and descaling purposes (during depopulation period), building humidification (through the fogging system), disinfection of vehicles and personnel at the entry to breeding farms, disinfection of hatcheries and equipment, etc.
The DOSATRON technology enables precise and uniform dosing regardless of variations in the pressure or flow in water networks. The DOSATRON dispenser can operate empty without damage, it is self priming up to 4 m and is not very sensitive to degassing products (risk of depriming), can cope with viscous products, offers wide dosing ranges (displayed as a % or a ratio), uses optional materials resistant to concentrated acids or alkaline products and enables easy and fast maintenance at any time.
Technical Points:
AF seals are recommended for alkaline disinfecting detergents, VF seals are recommended for acids and the PVDF pump body option is recommended for very aggressive and highly concentrated products (peracetic acid or peroxides, highly concentrated chlorine derivatives, etc.).

Drinking Water Production
DOSATRON water powered dosing pumps (water is the only driving force) are used to disinfect water by automatically dosing chlorine derivatives (NaClO, NaDCC, etc.) or peroxides. The proportionality of DOSATRON pumps guarantees the correct dose independently of pressure and flow variations in water networks. DOSATRON pumps are self-priming at up to 4 m and are not very sensitive to degassing products, guaranteeing uniform in line dilution, and enabling a direct readout and easy adjustment of the required dosing rate. For hard water, it is recommended that a light descaling should be done from time to time by injecting prediluted hydrochloric acid at 10%.
Technical points:
AF seals are recommended for alkaline products (NaClO, etc.), VF seals for acids (Peracetic acid, etc.). The PVDF pump body option is also recommended. Example installation: a DOSATRON with low dosing rate (e.g. adjusted to 0.1%), a filter and a pressure reducer upstream and a 100-liter predilution tank. For example, prepare a 1000 ppm (0.1%) mother solution of chlorine in the 100-liter tank, which after dispensing at 0.1% will give a concentration of 1 ppm of free chlorine at the outlet from DOSATRON. With a Dosatron adjusted to 0.1% and a 100-liter mother solution tank, you will be able to treat 100 m³ water.

Drinking Water Acidification
The use of organic acids in drinking water is a practice that is becoming increasingly frequent since these acids have attractive zootechnical and sanitary properties (beneficial effects on intestinal flora, reduction of the pH, etc.). The proportionality of DOSATRON pumps guarantees the correct dose independently of pressure and flow variations in water networks. DOSATRON pumps are self-priming at up to 4 m and are not very sensitive to degassing products, guaranteeing uniform in line dilution, and enabling a direct readout and easy adjustment of the required dosing rate and can operate empty (with no product) without any risk of deterioration. DOSATRON has developed material options such as PVDF pump bodies associated with special seals and alloys enabling daily use of highly concentrated acids, in order to satisfy changes in the organic acids market.
Technical Points :
"Special acids" series : Pumps with PVDF pump bodies and special seals for highly concentrated formic and propionic acids. The usefulness of « special acids » models will be determined with the help of our technical services. The "Hastelloy" special alloy option may be necessary for mineral acids.

DOSATRON pumps are self-priming at up to 4 meters, and are not very sensitive to degassing products, guaranteeing uniform dosing and enabling a direct readout and easy adjustment of the required dosing percentage.
Technical points:
AF seal options are recommended for alkaline disinfecting detergents, VF seals for acids (descaling of nozzles), and the PVDF option is recommended for highly concentrated and very aggressive products. Some installations use 2 dispensing pumps in series.
